🧩 Create a Custom Sales Methodology

If none of the existing sales frameworks perfectly fit your team’s process, KomboAI lets you create your own custom sales methodology — tailored to your sales conversations and discovery flow.


Step 1 — Open Selling Configuration

  • Open the KomboAI extension.

  • Go to the ⚙️ Settings tab.

  • Select Selling Configuration.

  • Scroll down to Sales Methodology.


Step 2 — Select “Custom”

In the Your Sales Methodology dropdown, choose Custom from the list.


Step 3 — Name Your Methodology

Enter a name for your new methodology in the Name of Methodology field — for example, “My Sales Framework” or “Discovery 2.0”.


Step 4 — Define Your Sections

Next, choose how many sections your methodology will include — for instance, 4 for a BANT-style framework or 7 for a more detailed model.

For each section:

  1. Add a Section Name (e.g., Budget, Decision-Making, Timeline).

  2. Insert one or more Example Questions that guide your discovery process.

  3. Use Add Question Example to include multiple prompts per section.


Step 5 — Save Your Custom Framework

Once you’ve completed your sections and questions, click Save to finalize your custom methodology.
Your new framework will now appear alongside other methodologies when preparing calls.

You’ve successfully created your own custom sales methodology in KomboAI.
Your personalized framework will now guide your discovery calls and pitches automatically.


Troubleshooting

  • Missing section fields? Try refreshing the page and reopening the editor.

  • Want to edit an existing custom framework? Simply open it from the dropdown and make your changes.
