1️⃣ Connect Your WhatsApp Account
Kombo connects to WhatsApp Web securely using a one-time QR code — similar to how WhatsApp Web works.
How to connect:
Open Settings → Connections → Outreach in Kombo.
Click WhatsApp → Connect WhatsApp.
A window will open showing a QR code.
On your phone:
Open WhatsApp
Go to Menu → Linked Devices
Tap Link a Device
Scan the QR code shown on your screen
Once scanned, Kombo will automatically confirm the connection:
WhatsApp – Connected!
Your phone number will appear in Kombo
✔️ After connecting WhatsApp, you can:
Generate WhatsApp follow-ups from call summaries
Send 1-click outreach messages
Sync conversations to Kombo for improved recommendations
Personalize tone, style, and next steps based on Kombo’s analysis
2️⃣ Connect Your Email (Gmail or Outlook)
Kombo also connects directly with your email provider to automate follow-ups and message templates.
How to connect:
In Settings → Connections → Outreach, open Email.
Click Connect Email — a window will appear:
Choose Google or Microsoft.
Approve the permissions request (read/send email on your behalf).
You're done! Kombo will now show:
Email – Connected!
Your connected email address
✔️ After connecting Email, you can:
Generate AI-written follow-ups personalized to each prospect
Use Kombo’s personality + call analysis to tailor tone
Create multi-step outreach sequences
Sync outbound messages into Kombo for better insights
🎉 You're fully connected!
Once WhatsApp and Email are both connected, Kombo becomes your unified outreach engine — generating personalized messaging everywhere you communicate.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
WhatsApp QR not scanning? Refresh the QR window and try again — each code expires after 60 seconds.
Email not connecting? Make sure your organization allows OAuth connections for external tools.
Kombo not recognizing the connection? Refresh the browser tab after enabling the Kombo Connector Extension.
