To allow your team to log into Kombo using Salesforce, you need to authorize the KomboAI connected app and enable OAuth access.
This is a one-time admin setup that ensures:
✅ All users can authenticate via Salesforce
🔄 Data sync works properly
🔐 Access is secure and centrally controlled
🔹 Step 1: Open Connected Apps in Salesforce
In Salesforce Setup:
Go to Setup → Apps → Connected Apps
Click Manage Connected Apps
You’ll see a list of all connected applications, including KomboAI.
🔹 Step 2: Verify KomboAI App Access
Locate KomboAI in the list.
Check that:
The app is visible
Users are allowed to authorize it
Access is not restricted
If needed:
Click Modify
Ensure:
✅ “All users may self-authorize” is enabled
(or assign via profiles if your org is restricted)
🔹 Step 3: Enable OAuth Usage
Next, go to:
Setup → Apps → Connected Apps → OAuth Usage
This section controls whether apps can actually be used.
🔹 Step 4: Install / Allow KomboAI
Find KomboAI in the list.
Then:
Click Install (if available)
Or ensure it is not blocked
If blocked → click Unblock / Allow
What this does:
Grants OAuth access to the app
Allows login via Salesforce
Enables API communication
🔹 Step 5: Confirm Access for Users
Once installed:
Users can log into Kombo using Salesforce OAuth
No additional setup is required per user (if globally allowed)
If your org uses restrictions:
Assign access via Profiles or Permission Sets
🎉 Done!
You’ve successfully:
Authorized the KomboAI connected app
Enabled OAuth access
Allowed your team to log in via Salesforce
Your users can now seamlessly connect Kombo with Salesforce.
